Learning and Growing Together

Curriculum Enrichment

At Park View, we have a range of extra-curricular activities that enrich our curriculum even further. Please see below our overview of the annual trips and clubs on offer.

Annual Trips and Visits

Our pupils take part in a variety of annual trips and visits designed to inspire learning and spark curiosity. These experiences complement classroom teaching and help children engage with the world around them.

Discover Your Passion

Our enrichment programmes encourage every child to try something new, develop their talents, and make lasting memories. Whether on the sports field, in the music room, or through helping others, there is always an opportunity to shine at Park View.

Eco Team – Green Champions

Our Eco Team work with Mr Toth to explore sustainability in everyday life. Pupils learn how to save energy, recycle, garden, and grow plants. They also support the Green King charity through fundraising activities, helping to make a positive impact in the wider community.

Happiness Heroes

Promoting wellbeing is at the heart of our school. Our Happiness Heroes, inspired by the My Happy Mind programme, run a Zen Den each day at lunch, supported by members of our Senior Leadership Team. Children can drop in to chat, play board games, colour, or simply relax.

School Council

Our School Council gives pupils a voice in school life. Council members meet regularly to discuss ideas, plan events, and represent their peers.

Extracurricular Activities

We offer a wide range of clubs and activities to suit all interests:

  • Sports: Football and Netball
  • Music: Choir (Young Voices), Rocksteady, and the Bury Music Programme
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Number Buddies, Reading Buddies, and Play Leaders
