Learning and Growing Together

Online Safety

New technologies inspire children to be creative, communicate and learn. However, while the internet is a great resource, it is important that children and young people are protected from the risks they may encounter.

Park View Primary School maintains a whole-school approach to Online Safety ensuring that all staff recognise and are aware of Online Safety issues. There is a commitment to training, the development of policies, and a straightforward consistent approach when tackling an incident.

Park View Primary School engages with and encourages pupils, parents and the wider school community in the reporting of potential Online Safety issues.

The school holds events between parents and training for staff where advice and information is offered regarding Online Safety and safeguarding issues.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead at Park View School is Mrs R McClean, Deputy Head Teacher.

Our various policies around Online Safety, can be found on our Policies page.
